1.2 % of annual sales are committed to R & D activities. Our programs focus in on those activities that support cost reduction, continuous improvement, product development, process development, new material and innovation.
Current projects include:
- We are working in partnership with industry and University partners in developing a die cast simulation software. This software is able to simulate die cast mold flow, porosity formation, heat transfer, and predict stress in the casting and die cast mold.
- Development of vacuum technologies.
- Development of Localized Squeeze Casting technologies.
- Thermal Control and Balance in die cast process.
- Trials in new die materials and coatings
